Compliance Certificates are used to assist your Building Certifier to release the Construction Certificate for building works that have extensive or detailed engineering items.

Compliance Certificates can be broken down into two different categories: Design Compliance Certificates and Construction Compliance Certificates.

Design Compliance Certificates

Design Compliance Certificates are a certificate issued under Part 6 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act and are used to assist another category of Certifier to issue a Construction Certificate.

Compliance Certificates can be Issued for the following:

Onsite Detention System, both above and below ground

Private Roads and Drainage

Construction Compliance Certificates

Construction Compliance Certificates are used to certify works are completed in accordance with the approved plans. Landcerts experienced engineers can complete inspections on the full range of engineering and civil works.

Depending on the Local Government Area (LGA) that your development is in, you may have the opportunity to engage Landcert to act as the Principal Certifier or inspect on behalf of the Principal Certifier and Landcert can issue a Part 6 Compliance Certificate for works.

Under the Subdivisions Code the Certifiers at Landcert can approve and issue your Subdivision Certificates, which allows for the creation of new lots, which then you as the developer can sell as individual title.
